We all know that English weather does not result in a lot of gardening during the winter! While in SE Asia on a search for warm weather before the busy Spring-time back home, I came across this lady peacefully and studiously creating plant pots for seedlings. The location was a village in the Mekong Delta in the south of Vietnam. She used discarded banana leaves, rolled them into shape, and pinned them with a small piece of bamboo, just like a cocktail stick. A fantastically sustainable way to create little plant pots.
